Ted Duncan is a seasoned real estate advisor with more than three decades of experience, beginning his career in 1992. His practice is intentionally personal and deeply strategic.
 
Ted works directly with every client he represents, providing clear counsel, disciplined analysis, and steady leadership through complex decisions. His clients include luxury homeowners, first-time buyers, and investors who value precision, discretion, and accountability over volume-driven representation.
 
Ted’s pricing and market strategy are grounded in rigorous analysis informed by his background in physics, paired with long-earned market judgment that cannot be reduced to formulas or automated valuations. His comprehensive market analysis is widely regarded as a differentiator and often sought out on its own for its depth and clarity. Ted holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and is a native Washingtonian who has lived in Potomac since 1972. He is married and has three children. His long-standing community involvement includes leadership roles with the Civic Association of River Falls, the Brickyard Coalition, and the River Falls Community Citizens Association, as well as past service with local education foundations and Montgomery County advisory boards. Ted is also a commissioned Notary Public.

Eventually we came to agreement on a contract. I had vacated the house and Ted took care of the rest. I had a problem with the ice maker and Ted met with repairman several times to rectify the issue. He is still working on it. I moved the furniture I wanted and Ted made arrangements to have the remaining furniture donated and hauled away. The only work I did was sign papers.
